On April 26th Casey Powell made a trip to New York City to support Citylax.org charity event at the New York Athletic Club.

CityLax, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse in New York City. They partner with public schools and community based organizations to expand lacrosse into New York City schools. World Lacrosse Foundation founders Casey Powell and Heather Chase attended the event and donated a package of Powell Lacrosse gear for the auction. They got the chance to catch up with Citylax founder Matt Levine, CPWLF ambassador Max Seibald and his father Jack Seibald. Casey discussed Xbox gaming strategies with the voice of the Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 video game, Eamon McAnaney. The event was emceed by one of Casey’s former teammates from Syracuse, Paul Carcaterra and raised a significant amount of money to help grow the game of lacrosse in New York City.
